Should I have any documents prepared for the appointment?

No. Although if you decide to place your property onto the market, we are required by law to carry out identity checks so will need see your passport or similar identification.

Will the valuer ask me any specific questions?

Yes. They will want to know how long you have owned the property, whether any renovations have been carried out and if there are any long-standing issues.

How long will the valuation take?

Valuations usually take around an hour, although this estimate could be longer or shorted depending on the size of your property.
