Britannia Mills
Britannia Mills is a collection of six Victorian mill buildings, this was Urban Splash’s first ever scheme in Castlefield. Its completion also brought the first homes to this part of Castlefield and led to the development of Timber Wharf, Box Works, Burton Place, Moho and schemes by other developers totalling £300 million.
The Britannia Mills development combines a vast array of original features with bold new designs to transform this derelict industrial area building and surround area into a new residential quarter. Many say that when the former emery mill was restored, it inspired the regeneration of this once forgotten area.
